The Adi Design Prize
Artika Slim Control has convinced the over one hundred experts that make up the ADI permanent Design Observatory. The annual publication of ADI Association for Industrial Design that gathers the best Italian design put into production. In the 2020 edition 521 candidate products were examined and only 239 were selected and sorted in 13 different categories.
These products will compete in the next Compasso d’Oro ADI 2020, the classic award which rewards the best Italian designers and the best Italian companies.
The product
The hydraulic hinge Artika Slim Control encloses the essence of the evolution in the commercial refrigeration. The hinge finds its best application when moving semi-vertical refrigerator doors. Its capability of controlling the weight in the closing and opening process and its soft closing mechanism made Artika Slim Control part of the Adi Design Index 2020.
